October is quite possibly the best time of the year, and what better way to enjoy the fall weather by LARPing and scaring small children? We have both the October Event, and also the Haunted Village for Hard Labor Creek State Park!
October Event
We are returning home to Temple Row at Camp Daniel Morgan, and are away from the soggy, spidery mess of Rutledge.
The weather is looking mild, if muggy, so hydrate before and during the event!
Because we are never sure of the state of cups in the kitchen, it is advised to bring a water bottle. Additionally, if you bring a Broken Rabbit Inn mug from our Teepublic Store, you will get free coffee at breakfast!
Haunted Village for Hard Labor Creek State Park
For the fifth? year in a row, we are setting up and running the Haunted Village at Hard Labor Creek State Park on October 19th. This is a major fundraiser for the State Park and also brings the Halloween spirit to an area of Georgia which does not have much access to spooky season.
Volunteers can arrive Friday, October 18th and stay on site. We will begin setting up the haunt Friday night and finish setup Saturday morning. The first family-friendly tours begin at 1:30pm, and PG-13 tours begin at 6:30pm. All volunteers will be fed lunch and dinner (at least) and can stay the night on Saturday as well.
Volunteers do not need to be Xadune players or LARPers, so if you have family and friends who would like to help out, please feel free to bring them!
For more information, please reach out to Emily, check out the channel on the Xadune Discord Server, or find our Facebook Event!
