We have a quick update to the Divine Path. Anyone who is considering becoming a Priest, or otherwise is already a Priest, should read this document closely, as several requirements are being added.

We are only two days away from the April 2024 Event!
Please sign up for a volunteer shift below.
All Player Characters must complete (1) shift. One shift consists of 3 hours, either in the Tavern or as a Monster. Working in the Tavern has the added benefit of adding $4.50 on your tavern tab.
Remember, we recently have updated the Reskill rule, and as such, you can take your Reskill at any 10 minute rest during the event, so long as you completed a Volunteer Shift at your last played event or are new to Xadune. As such, there is no negative to taking a later shift.

Change of COVID-19 Regulations
Starting January of 2024, we will no longer be requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination to attend Xadune events.
It is coming up on 4 years since the pandemic began, and so much has changed during that time. A lot of factors went into this decision, including reviewing CDC guidelines. Ultimately we decided on this course due to COVID-19 being endemic to the world at large and because Vaccination Cards are no longer being regularly updated with COVID boosters or sometimes handed out at all.
However, we strongly recommend getting vaccinated against COVID-19 and Flu. The LARP community has always been wonderful about looking out for each other’s health, and this has been no exception. The Vaccine Promotion will continue through February, in which proof of COVID Booster and Flu Shot since July of 2023 will gain you an additional 1XP added to your character card.
We also urge everyone to monitor themselves prior to the event and if presenting with any symptoms of COVID-19 or a positive COVID-19 test, please do not come to the event. Staff is happy to work with you on moving an event ticket in the case of COVID-19.
Volunteer Shift Changes
Currently, all players are required to complete 3 hours of volunteering, which can be split into two shifts. However, going forward, shifts will be 3 consecutive hours, rather than split into two 1.5 hour shifts.
Previously, we had wanted to give more agency for a person to not be out-of-play for an extended period of time. However, this has consistently caused confusion and issues when signing up for shifts, and so, we are moving to 3-hour shifts. Volunteer Shifts are integral for any LARP to run, and Xadune is no exception.
Additionally, for 2024, we will be re-instating the Volunteer Shift Book. Rather than finding a marshal to sign your card for a Monster or Tavern Shift, you will be required to sign into the Volunteer Shift Book with your time of arrival. When you have completed your shift, you will need to both sign out in the Book, and find the Marshal you worked under to sign you out.
It’s been a few years, but we are bringing back the Sunday Morning Mod! This means there will be content Sunday morning, for anyone who wants to participate. No one is required to be in-play Sunday morning, but if you are going to be out-of-play, please wear your white headband.
Consent isn’t just Key, it’s a Mandatory Pre-Requisite.
The only touch-based consent intrinsically given by coming to an event is by that of a boffer, packet, or foam dart. In play, this means, of course, you must ask permission for physical roleplay before touching anyone. Moreover, anyone has the right to reject that request.
This also extends out-of-play. Under no circumstances should a person be touched out-of-play without clear and enthusiastic consent. Do not hug a person without clear and enthusiastic consent. Don’t high-five them. Don’t touch their arm or their shoulder. And by no stretch of the imagination should a person be touched after they have said they do not want to be touched. Failure to comply to this, on site, at social events, at the mall, in a grocery store, at the airport (you get the point), will be considered a breach of the Players’ Conduct, Ethics, and Responsibilities, and will be dealt with in the manner described in Chapter 2 of the PHB.
The Xadune community is very caring and wonderful, and while this often expresses itself in physical forms of affection like hugs, caring that a person does not want to be hugged is the same expression of love. Respect for bodily autonomy is for everyone.

Some Notes
As you may be aware, we are requiring full vaccination against COVID-19, including a booster shot if eligible, for attendance to the event. We recommend, but do not require, a flu shot as well. https://xadune.com/medical-information-form/
It is going to be cold, with lows in the 20’s. Camp MacIntosh has heated buildings, but the outdoors in another story. Please pack layers, extra socks, hats, and whatever you need to stay warm. Tavern will have warm drinks.
If you have reserved an Annual Pass for 2022, please be prepared to pay for it at Check-In.
Add money to your Tavern Tab early, or bring cash. We cannot accept credit cards on site.
Don’t forget – we are at Indian Springs State Park this event, which WILL try to trick you. You do not need to go into the main State Park, but instead turn at Big Chiefs (at the yellow flashing light) and follow the road until you see the gate.
Remember you cannot sign-up multiple people in one slot and please read the times – do not presume the are consecutive; many time slots overlap with each other. If you sign up for time slots which overlap, one of them will be removed, and you may not get your choice of a follow-up time.
As we have with previous events this year, we would like to keep as safe as possible considering the world state. Please take your time to wipe down your weapons after combat. Remember to balance role-play with respecting people’s personal space, with trying to stay warm.
Due to increased costs, we are announcing the second-ever price increase for events in Xadune history. This only effects Regular Admission.
Regular Admission is $50 First Event Player Admission is $40 Full-Time Monster Admission with XP is $15 Full-Time Monster Admission without XP or guaranteed bed is free.
Pre-Registering still offers a $5 discount on all admission except Full-Time Monster. Admission includes parking. Admission does not include food; please see the Tavern page for information on Tavern pricing.

COVID-19 Restrictions and Updates
At this time, Xadune is still requiring all attendees and staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination must be received by Xadune Staff no later than 5 days prior to the first event played since vaccination.
In line with CDC Guidance and with an abundance of caution, we are increasing the maximum capacity of each event from 50 to 75.
Xadune still does not require face masks, but encourages anyone to wear one.
Community
Don’t forget: Xadune is so much more than just a LARP; its a community. You can join our Discord and our Facebook Group and dive right in.
As we are sure you are aware, the November 2021 Xadune Event is SOLD OUT!
We have reached capacity for the event and sadly can not accommodate any other players. As a reminder, due to the pandemic we are limiting our numbers to fifty people on site for the remainder of the year for safety reasons. With that in mind we are also trying to balance the weather in Georgia and safety. As mentioned last time we would like to keep pods together in cabins and max out the cabin occupancy to help with keeping the cabins warm.
The site is Camp Daniel Morgan at Hard Labor Creek State Park!
Did everyone pick up some cabin curtains to cover those drafty windows? The weekend is looking to be in the 60s during the day (lovely LARPing weather) and the mid to low 40s at night. PLEASE BRING WARM BEDDING AND CLOTHING! As someone with experience in cold weather my two biggest pieces of advice are bring lots of socks and change them often, and if you have to pee at night, do it! Those two things will keep you warmer longer; trust me.
We plan on having opening ceremonies at 9:00pm Friday night, check-in starting two hours prior. New players! Please make sure you have some type of character submitted before had so we can get you going as fast as possible. Your ordination and safety course will happen right after opening ceremonies, following which will be your tutorial mod followed by your introduction to the environment/new player mod! So please be sure to be at opening ceremonies on time and in costume! As always, we will have dinner options available Friday night (we are going with a nice warm soup again), and we plan on having Saturday dinner around 8 o’clock (which is a little earlier then normal). Please let us know your food allergies and dietary needs if you haven’t already!
Volunteer Sign Up Policies
Remember you cannot sign-up multiple people in one slot and please read the times – do not presume the are consecutive; many time slots overlap with each other. If you sign up for time slots which overlap, one of them will be removed, and you may not get your choice of a follow-up time.
Please only choose a Tavern shift if you are unable to participate in combat (i.e., orange headbanded or close to it). If you have not communicated this need to us and sign up for a tavern shift, you will be removed from the slot and you may not get your choice in time.
As we have with previous events this year, we would like to keep as safe as possible considering the world state. Please take your time to wipe down your weapons after combat. Remember to balance role-play with respecting people’s personal space, with trying to stay warm.
